lots numbered 21, 22 and 23 of the Division of the Estate of
Luraner Knowles, more particularly described as follows: —Be-
ginning at a point in the South line of Mitchell street distant
one hundred sixteen and one-half (116-1/2) feet from the east
line of Connecticut avenue and running thence southwardly
parallel with said east line of Connecticut avenue about two
hundred twenty-five (225) feet to a point in the line between
Lots numbered three (3) and four (4) extended eastwardly dis-
tant one hundred sixteen and one-half (116-1/2) feet from said
east line of Connecticut avenue; thence with said extended line
eastward to the east line of said Block numbered three (3);
thence northwardly with the east line of Block numbered three
(3) to the south line of Mitchell street; thence with the south
line of Mitchell street to the point of beginning; being a por-
tion of the land which was conveyed by the Town of Kensington
to the State of Maryland by its deed dated June third, 1925 and
recorded in the Land Records of Montgomery County at Lib.

The said above-described property to be conveyed in exchange
for the conveyance to the State by the Mayor and Council of
the Town of Kensington of a piece of ground described as fol-
lows:

Lot numbered four (4) in Block numbered three (3) in R. B.
Detrick's Sub-division of original lots numbered 21, 22 and 23
of the Division of the Estate of Luraner Knowles, together with
a portion of a lot in the same Block, known as '' The Old School
Lot, " said portion being more particularly described as follows:
—Beginning at the north-easterly corner of said lot numbered
four (4) and running eastwardly with the line between lots
three (3) and four (4) extended, to a point distant one hun-
dred sixteen and one-half (116-1/2) feet from the east line of
Connecticut avenue; thence turning and running southwardly,
parallel with said east line of Connecticut avenue, about seven-
ty-five (75) feet to a point in the line between lots four (4)
and five (5) in said block, extended eastwardly, distant one
hundred sixteen and one-half (116-1/2) feet from said east line
of Connecticut avenue; thence westwardly with said extended
line to the southeast corner of lot numbered four (4) aforesaid;
thence with the east line of said lot numbered four (4) to the
point of beginning.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.
