eral Laws of Maryland, title "Oysters", sub-title "Oyster Cul-
ture", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:
SEC. 129. It shall be lawful at any time after the closed
season for taking oysters, to take oysters from such natural
beds or bars in Chesapeake Bay as the Commissioner may
mark out for that purpose, and at such time as the Com-
mission may designate, but not to exceed one month in any
one year and under such regulations as said Commissioner
may from time to time prescribe; and, provided, however, that
said oysters may be sold only for the purposes now permitted
under the existing laws of Maryland, during the season of the
year above mentioned; and in addition thereto, to persons en-
gaged in the industry of planting and cultivating oysters within
the area. designated by this subtitle, the same to be delivered
only upon lands which may have been leased under the pro-
visions of this sub-title for said purposes of planting or culti-
vation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That all laws or parts of
laws of the State of Maryland, general or local, inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act be and the same are hereby re-
pealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

CHAPTER 605.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 2
of Chapter 203 of the Acts of 1920, increasing the salary of
the Clerk to the Treasurer of Cecil County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 2 of Chapter 203 of the Acts of 1920 be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read
as follows:
2. The assistant supervisor of taxes for Cecil County shall
be clerk to the Treasurer of Cecil County and shall receive an
annual salary of nine hundred dollars in addition to his salary
as said assistant supervisor and there shall be no other person
employed to assist said Treasurer in the discharge of his duties.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.
