general municipal election in said town in the same manner
and method as hereinbefore provided. And if a majority of
the votes cast upon said question shall be "For Water Bonds, "
then "The Commissioners of Federalsburg" may proceed at
any time to execute the powers vested in them by the pro-
visions of this Act; but if a majority of the votes cast upon
said question shall be "Against Water Bonds, " then the ques-
tion shall be submitted a third time to the qualified voters of
said town at the next succeeding general municipal election
in said town in the same manner and method as hereinbefore
provided. And if a majority of the votes cast upon said ques-
tion shall be "For Water Bonds, " then "The Commissioners
of Federalsburg" may proceed at any time to execute the
powers vested in them by the provisions of this Act; but if
a majority of the votes cast upon said question at said third
election shall be "Against Water Bonds, " then this Act shall
be void.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That "The Commission-
ers of Federalsburg" be and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to do all acts and things not specifically mentioned
herein which may be necessary to issue and sell said bonds and
to arrange for the construction, establishing and maintaining
of said water supply system as herein provided, or in their
discretion to acquire by purchase or condemnation, the proper-
ty, real and personal, rights and franchises of any person or
persons, partnership or corporation now furnishing water to
the citizens of the Town of Federalsburg.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act is an emer-
gency law and necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health and safety, and having been passed by a
yea and nay vote by three-fifths of all the members elected
to each of the two House of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

of Article 72 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title "Oysters, " sub-title "Oyster Culture. "
