90A. Every resident of Dorchester County applying for a tong-
er's license shall pay to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for said
County an additional annual license fee of One Dollar, to be paid
over by said Clerk to the County Commissioners of said County,
and to be held by them as a special fund known as the '' Oyster
Moving and Planting Fund. '' Said County Commissioners shall
appropriate not to exceed Eight Hundred and Fifty Dollars
($850. 00) annually for the purpose of moving not over 2, 000
bushels of oysters per year, at a cost not to exceed ten cents per
bushel, during June and July, said oysters to be caught and
moved in the rough (or unculled) state, from any oyster area,
in the vicinity of Cambridge where the taking of oysters is pro-
hibited by the State health authorities or any other authorities,
to any area from which oysters may be taken by tongers ex-
clusively; and for the further purpose of planting annually 2, 000
bushels of shells in the Little Choptank river, 2, 000 in the Honga
river and 2, 000 in Fishing Bay. Said moving and planting of
oysters shall be done under the supervision of the Deputy Com-
mander on beds or bars to be selected by the Conservation Com-
missioner. The "Oyster Moving and Planting Fund" shall be
used by the County Commissioners of Dorchester County to pro-
vide the funds for said appropriation, and any deficiency shall be
paid out of the Emergency Fund of the County. Any surplus
shall be credited annually to Miscellaneous Receipts.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 598.

AN ACT to increase the salary of the Court Stenographer of
the Second Judicial Circuit of Maryland, and direct the
time of paying the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the salary of the Court Stenographer of the Second:
Judicial Circuit of Maryland be and the same is hereby increas-
ed in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00) annually, of
which said sum the Counties of Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's,
Caroline and Talbot shall each pay One Hundred Dollars
($100. 00); said payments to be made in monthly instalments.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.
