SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
paying the interest on said bonds, and for redeeming said
bonds as they mature, said Board of County Commissioners
shall, for the year nineteen hundred and twenty-seven, and an-
nually thereafter, until all of said bonds, issued under the au-
thority of this Act, shall mature and be redeemed, levy a tax
upon the assessable property of said County, sufficient to pay
the annual interest on said bonds outstanding and to redeem
said bonds as they mature and become due, said taxes to be
collected a, s other taxes in said County are collected.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That if, for any reason
whatsoever, there should be a surplus of funds left in the hands
of said Board of Education after all expenditures have been
made in keeping with the terms of this Act, said surplus shall
be paid back to the Board of County Commissioners of Howard
County, to be used by them to retire said bonds.

SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an Emergency Law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public. health and safety, and hav-,
ing been passed by a Yea and Nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the Members of each of the two Houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 580.

AN ACT to ratify and confirm the Certificate of Incorporation
of "The Trustees of Washington Chapel" of Hurlock, a re-
ligious corporation under the laws of Maryland and to con-
firm and ratify all the attempted corporate acts of said
Board of Trustees.

WHEREAS, "The Trustees of Washington Chapel" of Hur-
lock, Maryland, a religious corporation, endeavored to comply
with the laws of the State of Maryland respecting such cor-
porations, by the acknowledgement of a Certificate of Incor-
poration, on the 26th day of May, 1906, which said certificate is
now of record among the corporation records of Dorchester
County, Maryland, in Liber J. F. D. No. 3, folio 2; and

WHEREAS, The said Certificate of Incorporation was not re-
corded until the 7th day of March, 1927, and notwithstanding
