USE OF FERRET AND WEASEL PROHIBITED; POISONING AND

TRAPPING PROHIBITED.

30. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons in this
State, at any time, to use any ferret or weasel for the purpose
of hunting, capturing or killing any game birds or game animals
which are protected by law.

31. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to kill,
attempt to kill or injure by poison any game birds or game
animals protected by law, or any domestic poultry.

32. Any person convicted before any Justice of the Peace
of this State for violating the provisions of this sub-title shall
be fined not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00) nor more
than One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) and costs for each and
every offense, and in addition to said fine shall be fined Five
Dollars ($5. 00) for each bird or animal so caught or ensnared,

FIELD TRIALS.

33. The Game Warden is authorized to grant permits to
bona fide Field Trials Clubs and Associations to hold field trials
with bird or rabbit dogs in this State any time during the
closed season, under such rules and regulations as may be
adopted by said Game Warden safe-guarding the interest of
the wild-life in this State.

34. It shall be unlawful to hold field trials with dogs in
this State during any closed hunting season, unless permission
to do so is granted by the Game Warden, and any Club or asso-
ciation holding a field trial during any closed hunting season,
shall not be allowed to shoot, or shoot at any game of any
species, which are protected by law.

Any person or persons owning any bird or rabbit dog or dogs,
who desires to train said dog or dogs during any closed hunting
season for the purpose of entering said dog or dogs in any field
trial must secure a permit by applying to the Game Warden
to train said dog or dogs during any closed hunting season.

35. Dogs brought into this State to participate in such field
trials and which are to be removed from the State within fifteen
days after said field trials are held, shall be exempted from the
payment of State, City or County license tax.
