CHAPTER 519.
AN ACT to authorize George Schirling, of Cecil County,
Maryland, to construct, maintain and operate a dam across
Plum Creek, in Cecil County, at his own expense.
WHEREAS, George Schirling, of Cecil County, Maryland,
desires to stock the waters of Plum Creek in said county with
carp, but at low tide there is not sufficient water in said creek;
and
WHEREAS, Said creek is not navigable at low tide; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said George Schirling, of Cecil County,
Maryland, be and he is hereby authorized and empowered to
construct, maintain and operate, at his own expense, a dam
across Plum Creek, near Elkton, Cecil County, Maryland,
west of the bridge across Plum Creek over which passes the
county road from Elkton to Old Field's Point, being about
one-half mile from Elk River, said dam to be on property of
the said George Schirling about 100 feet west of said county
road, to be about sixty feet long and to vary in height from
about six to ten feet, the plans and specifications and erection
thereof to be subject to the approval of the Chief Engineer and
Secretary of War of the United States of America, and the
Roads Engineer of Cecil County, Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 520.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
173, 179, 182, 185, 189, 190, 193, 194, 202 and 204 of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Edition of
1924, title "Licenses, " sub-title "Motor Vehicles, " to define
certain terms used in said sub-title; to provide for the carry-
ing of certificates and the display of tags of the next ensu-
ing year on and after December 15th; to change, modify
and provide for certain registration fees and classifications
of motor vehicles; to abolish refunds of registration fees
