ALBERT C. RITCHIE, GOVERNOR. 1009

(a) To the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church at
Bethel, on Sam's Creek, the sum of one thousand five hundred
dollars, to be held in accordance with the provisions of the last
will and testament of said testatrix;

(b) To the President of the Aid Society of the Methodist
Episcopal Church of Westminster, the sum of one hundred
dollars, and

(c) To the Blue Ridge College at New Windsor, Maryland,
the sum of five hundred dollars.

47. To the following bequests made in and by the last will
and testament of Margaret Mehring, deceased, elated the six-
teenth day of October, A. D. nineteen hundred and twenty-
three, and recorded in the Office of the Register of Wills for
Carroll County, Maryland in Will Record W. A. No. 12, folio
586, etc., to wit:

(a) To the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Maryland the
sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) for a certain
Woman's College now about to be established under the au-
thority of the said Synod and a number of co-operating synods
of the United Lutheran Church in America, provided the said
college shall be established, incorporated and in actual opera-
tion during my life time or within five years after the time of
my death, but in. case the said college shall not be established,
incorporated and in actual operation during my life time or
within five years after the time of my death, then the said
sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) shall be paid to
the Woman's Missionary Society of the United Lutheran
Church in America to be used as the Executive Committee of
the said Society may determine preferably for the education
of young women.

(b) A bequest made as follows: "To the Gospel Mission, in
the City of Washington in the District of Columbia, the sum
of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).

(c) A bequest made as follows "To the Inner Mission So-
ciety of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Baltimore City

the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).

(d) To the Board of Ministerial Relief of the United
Lutheran Church in America the sum of one thousand dollars
($1,000.00).
