purchase and hold real estate, or dispose of the same for the
benefit of said town.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the boundaries of the
said town shall be as follows: All that tract of land now known
as Boulevard Heights Sub-division as described in the plat of
the same duly filed among the Land Records of Prince George's
County in Liber J. W. B. No. 5, folio 702.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the officers of said
town shall consist of three Town Commissioners and Treasurer
all of whom shall be elected by the voters of said town, and such
appointive officers as are hereinafter designated shall be ap-
pointed by the Town Commissioners and each officer appointed
shall continue to hold office for such term as the Town Commis-
sioners shall designate, or until his successor is duly qualified.
Before entering upon the duties of his office, each officer shall
take oath that he will diligently and faithfully discharge all
duties of his office without favor, partiality or prejudice, and
said oath shall be filed among the records of said town.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That at the first election
of officers held under this Charter, after notice posted in ten
conspicuous places in said town the qualified voters of the town
shall elect three Town Commissioners and a Treasurer to serve
the term of one year. All citizens twenty-one years of age who
own or are purchasing property in said town and who have
resided therein for six months and the members of said citizen's
family, who are twenty-one years of age, and have resided in said
town for six months shall be qualified to vote for the election of
officers for the Town of Boulevard Heights and at all elections
provided for under this Charter. The Town Commissioners and
Treasurer must continually reside in said town and they shall
receive no compensation for their services except that the Treas-
urer shall receive the fees hereinafter allowed.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the Town Commis-
sioners shall meet in some convenient place in said town not less
than once in every month. The majority shall form a quorum
for the transaction of business; and upon each action taken the
yea and nay vote of each Commissioner shall be recorded
opposite his name. The Town Commissioners shall pass rules
and regulations consistent with the provisions of this Act for
their own government while in session. All vacancies occurring
shall be filled by the Town Commissioners. The Chairman of the
Commissioners shall preside at the meeting of the Commis-
