SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Chapter 169 of the Acts of 1922 be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so
as to read as follows:

1. For the purposes of this Act the village of Alta Vista,
Montgomery County, Maryland, as hereinafter described, shall
constitute a special tax area or district and shall be deemed and
taken to comprise all parcels of land embraced in the following
described portions of the village of Alta Vista: Beginning for
same at the intersection of the north side of Cedar Avenue with
the western edge of Cypress Avenue as laid down on a plat of
Alta Vista of record in Plat Book No. 2, Plat 107, one of the
land records of Montgomery County, and running thence with
the west side of Cypress Avenue N 3°38 W 418 feet to point of a
curve to the left, having a radius of 309. 3 feet for a distance of
576 feet more or less, to a point on the south side of Acacia Ave-
nue as laid down on said plat, then with the south side of said
Avenue S 66°22 W 490 feet more or less to the intersection of the
west side of Linden Avenue extended thence with the west side
of said Avenue and crossing over Maple Avenue N 20°47 W to
the point on Linden Avenue which is the northeastern corner of
the lands now owned by Henry K. Schreiber, and of record in
Liber 318 at folio 9, one of the land records of Montgomery
County, thence along the northern boundary of said Schreiber
lands to the original corner of Lots 21 and 22, said corner being1
on the east line at lot 26 as laid down on the Plat of Alta Vista
and of record in Plat Book No. 2, Plat 107, one of the land
records of Montgomery County, thence along the east side of
Lots 26 and 27 and the west side of lot 21 as shown on said Plat
of Alta Vista S 6°06 W 377 feet to a point on the north side of
Spruce Avenue, then crossing said Avenue in a southeasterly
direction to the point of intersection of the south
line of said Avenue with the division lines between
lots 28 and 29 as laid down on said plat, then with
said division line S 10°47 E 343 feet to a point in Charles
Street 5 feet north of the south side of said street, then S 39°47
E 150 feet to the north limits of the south half of Blocks No. 1
and No. 2 as laid down on Miller's Sub-division of a portion of
Alta Vista of record in Plat Book No. 2, Plat No. 102, one of the
land records of said County and State, thence on said line
S 50°13 W 752. 85 feet to the east limit line of the Washington
and Rockville Electric Railway, thence with said limit line and
crossing Maple Avenue S 22°47 E 366. 76 feet to a point 150 feet
