south of the southern edge of Maple Avenue, then parallel with
and 150 feet south of Maple and Locust Avenues in an easterly
direction to intersect the northern edge of Cedar Avenue afore-
said, thence bounding thereon in a straight line bearing N 86°54'
E to the point of beginning.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

Approved April 9, 1924.

CHAPTER 306.

AN ACT to authorize the State Road Commission of Maryland,
and thereafter maintain as a part of the State Road System,
an improved concrete highway from the end of concrete
road one mile east of Snow Hill to Public Landing, a point
on the Chincoteague Bay, and thereafter maintain same,
a distance of about six miles.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 307.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of County Commissioners for
Allegany County to enter into a contract with the legal au-
thorities of the State of West Virginia for the erection of a
bridge over the Potomac River at a point near Paw Paw,
"West Virginia, and to borrow funds for the payment for the
same and to provide for the re-payment of such amount of
money so borrowed for such purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County Commissioners of Allegany
County are hereby empowered, if they deem it necessary or
advisable, to borrow the sum of Forty Thousand ($40, 000) Dol-
lars at a rate of interest not exceeding five per cent per annum
for a term of years not exceeding four (4) years from the time
such money shall be so borrowed and to use the same or such
part as may be required, as hereinafter provided for the erection
of a bridge across the Potomac River at a point near Kifer,
Maryland, and Paw Paw, West Virginia.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That in the event said Board
of County Commissioners shall deem it necessary or advisable to
