SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
LXV of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Bagby's Edition),
title, "Militia, " as enacted by Chapter 490 of the Acts of 1922,
said new section to be known as Section 11-A and to follow
immediately after Section 11 of said Article, and to read as
follows:
11-A. The Ranking Line Officer is authorized and directed to
take out and thereafter maintain a policy or policies of insur-
ance with the State Accident Fund or with any stock corporation
or mutual association authorized to transact the business of
Workmen's Compensation insurance in this State, to secure com-
pensation under the Workmen's Compensation Law to all officers
and enlisted men of the organized militia of the State of Mary-
land. The Ranking Line Officer is authorized and directed to
pay the necessary premium or premiums for said policy or poli-
cies of insurance out of appropriations for the militia to be in-
cluded in the State Budget by the Governor of the State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 287.
AN ACT to create a new precinct in Cambridge, or the Seventh
Election District of Dorchester County, to be known as the
"Fifth, or East Cambridge Precinct. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new Precinct be and is hereby created in Cambridge,
or the Seventh Election District of Dorchester County, to be
known as the "Fifth, or East Cambridge Precinct, " and that it
shall consist of all that part of the First Precinct of said Seventh
Election District, which lies East of the Cambridge Creek, be
ginning at the mouth thereof and binding with the said East
side of said Creek to a ravine at the head thereof, which runs
between the properties of The Phillips Packing Company and
the property of one Edward Hayes, and thence with the said
ravine until it intersects the culvert which passes under the State
Road at point a distance of about ninety (90) feet from the
West side of the Cambridge and Seaford Railroad tract, and
thence with the said State Road in an Easterly or Northeasterly
direction to Jacktown, and thence with the said State Road on
