38D. It shall be the duty of every seller of coal or coke to
send with each and every load of coal or coke sold by him a
card or ticket which shall indicate on its face in plain char-
acters the seller's name, the date, the weight of coal or coke
contained in the cart, wagon or other vehicle in which it is
being transported, and any violation of the provisions of this
section on the part of any seller of coal or coke shall be a mis-
demeanor and punishable by a fine of not more than $10. 00
for each and every offense.

38E. A compensation of twenty-five cents shall be paid per
ton to the parties weighing the coal or coke under the foregoing
sections, said sum for weighing to be paid by the seller if the
coal or coke is deficient in weight, otherwise to be paid by the
purchaser; if said coal is ordered weighed by the sheriff,
deputy sheriff, constable, or other police officer, and there be
found no deficiency, the cost of weighing shall be paid by the
Treasurer of Howard County.

38F. The provisions of this sub-division of this Article
shall not apply to the sale of coal or coke by the single bushel,
half-bushel or peck, nor to sales of coal or coke by manifest
weight in car or cargo lots. All penalties provided for in this
sub-division of this Article when recovered shall be paid to the
Treasurer of Howard County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 259.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 2 of

Chapter 415 of the Acts of 1922, creating the Berwyn Elec-

tion District No. 21, the said amendment changing the

southern boundary of said Berwyn Election District No. 21.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 2 of Chapter 415 of the Acts of 1922 be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

2. The said Election District so created shall be bounded
on the north by the present boundary lines between the First
and 21st Election District of said county; on the east by the
Lanham District or District No. 20; on the west by Chillum
