distributed among said volunteer fire companies upon the rec-
ommendation of the executive committee of the Carroll County
Volunteer Firemen's Association.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1. 1924.

CHAPTER 242.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 520
of Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State
of Maryland, title "Harford County, " sub-title "Wild Fowl"
as said section was amended by Chapter 122 of the Acts of
1922 of the General Assembly of Maryland, changing the
time of anchoring, going on and setting out decoys on the
gunning grounds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 520 of Article 13 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County, " sub-title
"Wild Fowl, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted with amendments so as to read as follows:
Section 520. Any person holding a license to gun for or
after wild water fowl shall, during the gunning season, as fixed
by Section 499, be allowed to anchor or otherwise make sta-
tionary, any boat or vessel or craft on the waters lying north-
ward of the line named in Section 498, after 4. 30 A. M. on
Monday, Wednesday or Friday, prior to the first day of Janu-
ary of said gunning season; and on and after January 1st of
said gunning season on any Monday, Wednesday, Friday or
Saturday for the purpose of securing a berth for the following
gunning days, named above; and said boat or vessel or craft
made stationary as herein provided shall be required to display
only such lights or signals as required by the Federal Laws of
the United States of America, governing navigation; provided
that such boat or vessel or craft shall place no decoys in the
water northward of the line mentioned in Section 498 until
4. 30 A. M. on the days on which gunning for water fowl is per-
mitted and any person violating this Section shall be subject to
a fine of not less than fifty dollars and not more than one hun-
dred dollars.
