WHEREAS, said Commission was appointed and has officiated
and provided under said Act of Assembly and Acts subsequent
thereto, and
WHEREAS, the necessity for said commission will not exist
after the expenditure of the funds now at hand,
Now, THEREFORE, —
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That upon the use and expenditure of the funds in the
hands of the said Commission, at the time of the passage of
this Act, or held by anyone for the use of said Commission, at
the time of the passage of this Act, the duties of said Commis-
sion shall cease and terminate, and the said Commission shall be
abolished, and shall cease to function.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the First day of June, 1924.

CHAPTER 125.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 133B
of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioners", requiring the treasurer of said county to deposit
taxes collected by him in the six banks in said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 133B of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's County", sub-
title "County Commissioners" be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
133B. It shall be the duty of the treasurer each year dur-
ing his term of office, as soon as the annual levy is made to
give public notice thereof by advertisement inserted in two
newspapers printed and published in said county, and the taxes
so levied shall be due and payable on the first Monday of Sep-
tember of the year in which they are so levied. It shall be the
duty of the said treasurer, in the month of September of each
year of his term, to sit two days at the principal town in each
election district of said county, and in the months of October
and November, one day in each of said town in each election
district aforesaid, for the purpose of receiving taxes; due no-
tice of each of said sittings shall be given by advertisement
