waters of Cecil and Harford Counties, on that part of the
Chesapeake Bay lying northward of the line described in Sec-
tion 498, and southward of the line described in Section 499
of the Public Local Laws of Harford County, as codified by
Chapter 680 of the Acts of 1916, shall use in connection with
a hunting rig, a boat of dimensions less than sixteen feet in
length nor less than twenty inches at lowest point in height
between the first day of November, and the first day of Febru-
ary following, providing, however, boats of smaller dimensions
may be used in stationary booby or stick blinds. And any
person or persons who shall have in his or their possession a
boat of less than the aforesaid dimensions, on the Susquehanna
Flats, between the said first day of November and the first
day of February following, shall be prima facie guilty of a
violation of this Act. Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this Section shall be deemed guilty of a misde-
meanor and upon, conviction before any Justice of the Peace
of this State, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50) nor
more than one hundred dollars ($100. 00) for each offense, and
each wild duck, goose, swan or brant so shot at. killed or had in
possession shall constitute a separate offense under this section;
provided, however, that upon conviction the Court of Justice
before whom such conviction shall have been had may in its or
his discretion impose a single fine for each day or part of a day
in which, such violation of this section occurred, such fine to be
not less than $100. 00 nor more than $250. 00 for every such
day or part of a day, and any officer or other person other
than the Game Warden or Deputy Game Wardens or officer
under the Conservation Department receiving compensation,
who shall procure the conviction of any person for violating
any provision or provisions of this section, shall receive one-
half of the fine recovered; the remaining one-half shall be paid
to the State Game Department or to the State Comptroller to
be placed to the credit of the State Game Protection Fund to
be used as provided by law.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws, both local
and general, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1. 1924.
