Washington County intoxicating liquor for medicinal, phar-
maceutical, scientific, sacramental or mechanical purposes,
under the license and authority of the United States Govern-
ment.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 11.

AN ACT to repeal Section. 325B of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, entitled, "Washington
County, " sub-title, "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks, " as
amended by the Acts of 1908, Chapter 380, relating to
druggists and apothecaries.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 325B of the Code of Public Local Laws of

the State of Maryland, entitled "Washington County, " sub-
title, "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks, " as amended by the
Acts of 1908, Chapter 380, relating to druggists and apothe-
caries, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from June 1st, 1924.

CHAPTER 12.

AN ACT to repeal Section 216S of Article 1 of the Public
Local Laws, title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Roads, " as
enacted by the Acts of 1904, Chapter 262, and to re-enact-
the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 216S of Article I of the Public Local Laws,
title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Roads, " as enacted by the
Acts of 1904, Chapter 262, be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

216S. The attorney for the County Commissioners shall be
the attorney of the Road Directors, at a salary of two hundred
