Road Grade Crossing Elimination Bonds of 1924, " and that
the bonds representing such expenditure be secured by the
County Commissioners of Montgomery County on the prop-
erty of the fifth (5th), eighth (8th) and thirteenth (13th)
election districts of Montgomery County; and that the
amount allotted and expended for the construction of the
secondary overhead crossing, or the reconstruction of the
present bridge in the northern part of the town of Takoma,
be known as the "Silver Spring-Takoma Overhead Cross-
ing Bonds of 1924, " and to be secured by the County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County on the property in the
second (2nd) precinct of the thirteenth (13th) election dis-
trict (Silver Spring), and the fourth (4th) precinct of the
thirteenth (13th) election district (Takoma). And to
authorize the County Commissioners of Montgomery Coun-
ty, in case they see fit to abandon either the secondary over-
head crossing described in this bill, or the reconstruction of
the bridge at North. Takoma, described in this bill, to issue
the bonds required for the project not abandoned, secured
upon the property in the election precinct in which the
project serves.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery County,
Maryland, are hereby authorized and empowered to issue bonds
in the total amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100, -
000. 00), the funds derived from the sale of such bonds may
be used by the said Board of County Commissioners, in con-
junction with the State Roads Commission of Maryland, in
eliminating the grade crossing at the intersection of the metro-
politan branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and the
Brookeville road, in the thirteenth (13th) election district of
Montgomery County, Maryland, or may be applied to any
expenses incidental thereto in the discretion of the Board of
County Commissioners of Montgomery County, and, or may
be applied to the construction of a secondary overhead crossing
of said metropolitan branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail-
road in said thirteenth (13th) election district of Montgomery
County between the present grade crossing on the Brookeville
road and the point where the northern boundary of the town
of Takoma crosses the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, and the
necessary approaches thereto, and, or to the reconstruction, in
conjunction with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, of the
present bridge over the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad now
