erly part of Spesutia island; thence continuing said line still
westward, within half a mile of, and north of the northern end
of said island and the adjacent main land, until it reaches the
shore in Harford county, at or near Oakington, shall be subject
to the operation of the twenty-two sections following. The
parts of Chesapeake Bay and its waters and of Northeast River
and its waters above excepted are excepted for the purposes of
navigation and anchorage and there shall be no shooting what-
ever of any kind or at any time on or over said excepted waters.

381. The season for shooting wild fowl northward of the line
described in the preceding section, shall begin on the first day
of November in each and every year, and continue until the
thirty-first day of January next succeeding, in each and every
year hereafter; and it shall not be lawful for any person to
kill or shoot at wild fowl northward of said line, except from
ashore, and southward of a line drawn east from Point Con-
cord light house in Harford County to Carpenter's Point on
the western shore of Cecil County, and southward of a line
drawn from the point of the stone wharf in Charlestown on
the western bank of Northeast River in Cecil County, eastward
to Hance Point, on the eastern bank of said river in said county,
at any other time; and any person violating the provisions of
this section shall, on conviction thereof, be fined not less than
fifty dollars and not more than one hundred dollars for each
offense.

384. No person shall, at any time, either in the day or.
night. time, shoot or kill, or shoot at any wild fowl, in or over
the waters lying northward of the line described in Section
380, from any vessel, boat, float, canoe, sneak-boat, sink-boat,
or any other craft of any kind or description whatever, within
one-quarter of a mile of any shore in Cecil or Harford counties,
or within the waters prohibited by Section 380; and any per-
son violating this section, shall, on conviction thereof, be sub-
ject to a penalty for each offense of not less than fifty dollars
and not more than one hundred dollars.

385. Any person owning land bordering upon the Chesa-
peake bay or the Northeast River, within the limits aforesaid,
or his assigns, may in the months of October or November in
each year, select and mark any one point on his shore, as re-
served for his gunning during the season of or immediately
following, said selecting and marking as aforesaid; and there-
after such owner, or his assigns, shall have, during said season.
