the exclusive right to station crafts, gun, or set decoys within
the one-quarter of a mile line from the shore, as now allowed,
except as otherwise provided in Section 380; and also, within
the additional space between said quarter of a mile line and
a line distant one-half a mile from any shore in Harford
County, three hundred yards wide on each side of a line drawn
at right angle to the shore line, from the point selected as afore-
said, to said half a mile line; and any person violating this
section, shall, on conviction thereof, before any justice of the
peace or circuit court for the county where such violation oc-
curs, be subject to a penalty for each offense of not less than
fifty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, in the dis-
cretion of said justice or court.

386. No person shall kill, or shoot at wild water-fowl, in,
on, or, over the waters of the Chesapeake bay or of the North-
east River from any boat, box. or vessel of any kind or descrip-
tion whatever, with any big or swivel gun, or any kind of gun
which cannot be conveniently discharged from the shoulder at
arms-length, and without a rest; and any person violating this
section, on conviction thereof, shall pay a fine of not less than
one hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dollars for
each offense.

389. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Cecil County and
the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford County, upon the
application of any resident of the State of Maryland, being
the owner of any sink box or sneak-boat, such as is allowed by
this sub-title of this article to be used and employed in shoot-
ing at wild water-fowl therefrom, shall grant a license under
the seal of his court, to such applicant to gun after and shoot
at wild water-fowl from such sink box or sneak-boat northward
of the line named and described in Section 380, from the first
day of November in each and every year, to the thirty-first
day of January next succeeding thereafter, in each and every
year; provided, that such license shall not authorize any person
using such sink box or sneak-boat to gun after or shoot at wild
water-fowl therefrom within a less distance than one-quarter
of a mile of any shore in Cecil or Harford County, or within
a less distance than two hundred (200) yards of the shores of
the Northeast River in Cecil County, or southward of the line
particularly described in Section 380.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws inconsistent herewith are hereby expressly repealed to
the extent of such inconsistency.
