SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the County Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's County be and they are hereby author-
ized to levy upon the assessable property of said County
for the years 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927 and 1928, a suffi-
cient sum of money to pay the note or notes so issued and the
interest thereon as the same become due and payable, the said
taxes to be collected as other taxes are now collected in said
County.

SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Caroline County be and they are hereby authorized
to levy upon the assessable property of 'said County for
the years 1924, 1925 and 1926, a sufficient sum of money to
pay the note or notes so issued and the interest thereon as the
same become due and payable, the said taxes to be collected as
other taxes are now collected in said County.

SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 541.

AN ACT to create a special taxing area or district and to be
known as Chew Chase View as per plat No. 124 in Plat Book
No. Two of the land record of Montgomery County, Mary-
land, for the incorporation, election and succession of a Citi-
zens' Committee, a Secretary-Treasurer and other necessary
officers, also directing the Board of County Commissioners
of Montgomery County, Maryland, to pay over to the Secre-
tary-Treasurer of said Citizens' Committee for disbursement
for improving, maintaining and repairing roads, streets and
lanes, the money collected on account of the county road tax
in the same amount and manner as is now required by law
to be paid to incorporated towns in said county; also empower
the said Citizens' Committee, subject to the approval of the
said Board of County Commissioners, to assess the cost of
certain special improvements against the property abutting
on streets, lanes and sidewalks for certain improvements at a
rate not exceeding $2. 50 per lineal foot computed on the
street frontage of the respective properties on each side of the
several streets and avenues of Chevy Chase View; the col-
lection of such assessment and disbursement thereof for the
benefit of the residents of the street or streets of said Citi-
