SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of said General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, sales,
leases, conveyances and deeds, to and from certain persons and
bodies corporate to and for the use of certain ministerial per-
sons, religious and educational corporations, orders, denomina-
tions and sects, and to certain charitable institutions herein-
after named and as herein set forth.
(1) To the bequest of the sum of fifty dollars in the last
will and testament of Cordelia Beaver, late of Carroll County,
deceased, now of record in the office of the Register of Wills of
Carroll County, Maryland, to the pastor of St. John's Catholic
Church of Westminster, Maryland, to be used in keeping in
repair the lot in which her sons are buried.
(2) To the conveyance from William P. Pfetzing, John
Beck, Ernest J. F. Dettbarn and Ernest A. Friers, Sr., Trus-
tees, of the lot of ground at northwest corner of Pennsylvania
Avenue and Elgin (now called Ruskin) Avenue, with a front-
age of 190 feet on Pennsylvania Avenue, to the St. John's
Concordia Lutheran Church of Baltimore, the deed being dated
February 28, 1924, and recorded among the Land Records of
Baltimore City.
(3) To the bequest of the sum of one hundred dollars in
the last will and testament of John G. Ely, late of Carroll
County, deceased, now of record in the office of the Register of
Wills of Carroll County, Maryland, to the Greenmount Church
of the United Brethren in Christ, in Carroll County, in the
State of Maryland, a religions corporation, called in said will
"Greenmount United Brethren Church at Greenmount, Car-
roll County, Maryland, " for exercising perpetual care over his
cemetery lot.
(4) To the bequest in the last will and testament of Jere-
miah Yingling, late of Carroll County, deceased, now of record
in the office of the Register of Wills of Carroll County, Mary-
land, to Emanuel's Lutheran Church of Manchester, Carroll
County, Maryland, a religious corporation, of five hundred dol-
lars and of the residue and remainder of his estate, after the
death of his sisters, as set forth in said will.
(5) To the grant of real estate from Charles W. Baldwin.
Trustee, to the Baldwin Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church
of Anne Arundel County, a body corporate (duly incorporated
