CHAPTER 486.
AN ACT to revive the charter of The Laurel Cemetery Com-
pany and to enable it to continue business as a corporation
under the laws of the State of Maryland upon payment of
their franchise and gross receipt taxes due by the said
corporation to the State of Maryland.
WHEREAS. The Laurel Cemetery Company, a corporation
organized and doing business under the laws of the State of
Maryland, did through inadvertance neglect to make payment
of the franchise taxes due to the State of Maryland for the
years 1919, 1920, 1921 and 1922; and
WHEREAS, The Governor of Maryland did, under and by
authority of Chapter 366 of the Acts of Maryland of 1920 by
proclamation bearing date the 12th day of May, 1922, declare
the charter of said corporation null and void; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the said proclamation of the Governor of Maryland,
in so far as it affected The Laurel Cemetery Company, be and
it is hereby set aside, and that the charter of The Laurel Ceme-
tery Company be revived, together with all powers incident
thereto from the date of said proclamation. As a condition
precedent, the said The Laurel Cemetery Company shall pay
all the taxes and penalties that are in arrears to the State of
Maryland.

CHAPTER 487.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Treasurer of Har-
ford County to return to the Harford County Fair Associa-
tion, Inc., the amount which he receives each year from the
Maryland Racing; Commission as licenses paid by the said
Association.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Treasurer of Harford County be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to pay over to the Harford
County Fair Association, Inc.. the amount which he receives
each year from the Maryland Racing Commission as license
fees paid by the said Association to the said State Racing Com-
mission.
