sub-title "Ejectment, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, to read as follows:

80. No warrant of resurvey shall issue in any action of
ejectment unless the Court shall be satisfied that there is a
dispute about the location of the lands claimed in said action;
nor shall any issue in other actions unless there is a dispute
about the location of the lands for the injury of which damages
are claimed, or unless the Court shall be satisfied that plats are
necessary for illustration; and all warrants of resurvey shall
hereafter issue to the surveyor alone, and all the duties hereto-
fore performed by the Sheriff in official surveys under war-
rants of resurvey issuing from the Court shall be performed
by the surveyor.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts in conflict with this Act be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 436.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title. "Licenses, '' sub-title, "Motor Ve-
hicles" said new section to be known as Section 163-A, the
same authorizing, empowering and directing the Police
Commissioner of Baltimore City to make rules and regula-
tions for the control and conduct of all vehicles and ve-
hicular traffic on the streets, avenues, alleys and highways
within the City of Baltimore; providing that such rules
and regulations shall not be effective until approved by the
Mayor of Baltimore; providing for the repeal of any laws
and ordinances inconsistent with the rules and regulations,
and providing for penalties for the violation of such rules
and regulations.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title, "Li-
censes, " sub-title, "Motor Vehicles, " said new section to follow
