twenty per cent, of the total amount levied for all the other items
of said budget. When the amount of taxes to be levied has been
arrived at by said Commissioners for any one year, they shall im-
mediately publish an ordinance levying said tax upon assessed
property within the corporate limits of said Ellicott City. The
budget for each year shall be printed upon the back of the tax
bills for that particular year. In addition to the taxes provided
for in this Section, said Commissioners shall levy all such special
taxes as may be necessary to provide for the payment of the
interest on any money borrowed by said City, and to liquidate
the principal thereof, as provided for in the Act or Acts under
the authority of which such money has been, or may be. bor-
rowed.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the 1st day of June, 1924.

CHAPTER 407.

AN ACT to repeal Section 254 of Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title ''Frederick County",
sub-title "Frederick" (the same being Section 221 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick County, Maryland,
as codified by George R. Dennis, Jr. ) as the same
was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 93 of the
Acts of Assembly of 1914, and to repeal Section 254A
of said Article of said Code (the same being Section 222 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick County, Mary-
land, as codified by George R. Dennis, Jr. ), as the same
was enacted by Chapter 550 of the Acts of Assembly of
1906, and to enact the following sections in lieu thereof,
enlarging and defining the taxable limits of Frederick. ''

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 254 of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County", sub-title
"Frederick" (the same being Section 221 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Frederick County, Maryland, as codified by
George R. Dennis, Jr. ) as the same was repealed and re
enacted by Chapter 93 of the Acts of Assembly of 1914. be and
the same is hereby repealed, and that Section 254A of said
Article of sard Code (the same being Section 222 of the Code
