ner whatsoever any fish in any of the streams of said Garrett
County, without first having applied to the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court of said Garrett County and procure a license so
to do and paying therefor the sum of Five Dollars, which said
license shall be good from the date of issuance until the thirty-
first day of May following. The license and tag shall be sup-
plied to the said Clerk by the State Game Warden, and said li-
cense shall be signed by the State Game Warden, and said li-
cense shall be signed by the State Game Warden and shall be
countersigned by the Clerk issuing the same, who shall at the
same time fill out a stub attached to the license blank, the name
and postoffice of the licensee, and shall then detach said stub
and mail to the State Game Department. In addition to the li-
cense fee so received, the Clerk issuing the same shall collect
and retain the sum of 50 cents, as Clerk's fee, from each non-
resident licensee. Every license so issued shall entitle the per-
son to whom it is issued to take, catch or kill or fish for any
fish in any of the streams of said Garrett County, when it is
lawful to fish for said fish or fishes. Every licensee while tak-
ing, catching, killing or fishing for any fish or fishes, shall have
in their possession the license referred to above, and shall al-
so display a tag bearing the license number in figures one inch
in height fastened upon outer garment at center of its, back
and between the shoulders in such manner that the figures are
visible at all times while taking, catching, killing or fishing
for any fish or fishes in said County. The license must be pro-
duced for inspection of any person demanding to see it.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any person or per-
sons violating any of the, provisions of the two preceding Sec-
tions shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con-
victions thereof before any Justice of the Peace of said Gar-
rett County, or in any Circuit Court thereof, shall be fined
not less than Five Dollars nor more than Fifty Dollars for
each offense, and shall stand committed to the County Jail
until such fine and costs are paid, one half of the said fine or
fines to go to the informer or informers upon whose evidence
the conviction is obtained; the remaining one half shall be paid
to the State Comptroller for account of the State Game Pro-
tection Fund to be used as provided by law.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all money arising
from the license aforesaid, and all fines, after paying the
amount aforesaid to said informer or informers, shall be paid
