upon the minute book of the Committee in a book to be pro-
vided for that purpose.
SEC. 13. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose
of determining whether the residents of the proposed Town of
Berwyn desire to incorporate said Town, there shall be held an
election on the second Monday in June, 1924, and Walter F.
Mulligan, J. B. Cay lor, Frank L. Dyer, William H. McManus,
John N. Cunningham and Arthur B. Gahan and Romeo T. Perry
are hereby appointed a committee for the purpose of holding
such election and declaring the result thereof. Not less than
seven (7) days before said election they shall post in three (3)
public places within the proposed Town's limits, a notice notify-
ing the residents who are qualified to vote under this Act, as
hereinbefore provided, that there will be held on said day at a
certain place and between certain hours, an election to determine
whether or not said residents desire to incorporate said Town.
The said Committee shall provide ballot boxes, booths and bal-
lots, and said ballots shall contain the words "For the Incor-
poration of the Town of Berwyn, " on one line, and "Against
the Incorporation of the Town of Berwyn, " on another line,
with a square opposite each. Said election shall be conducted
as nearly as practicable as an election for county officers in
Prince George's County, Maryland. Said Committee shall ap-
point three judges and two clerks, to conduct said election witl\-
out pay, and upon the closing of said polls shall canvass the said
vote and publicly announce the result of said canvass. In the
event of a majority of said voters being in favor of the incor-
poration of the Town of Berwyn, this Town shall become imme-
diately in existence and operation, and thereupon the same com-
mittee shall, on the second Monday in July, 1924, hold an elec-
tion, as hereinbefore provided, for the election of the said Ber-
wyn Citizens' Committee. And in event that at such election
the majority of votes cast for and against the "Incorporation
of the Town of Berwyn" shall be against the "Incorporation of
the Town of Berwyn, '' then the Committee hereinbefore created
may submit the same question in the same manner and under
this Act to the qualified voters of said District in June, 1925, and
if a majority of the votes cast upon said question shall be "For
the Incorporation of the Town of Berwyn, " then this Act shall
be in full force -and effect, but if a majority of the votes cast
upon said question shall be "Against the Incorporation of the
Town of Berwyn, " then this Act shall be void and of no effect.
