Evans foreman                                           And the afd Reb.a
Blackledge in her proper person comes and Saith that she is in
no Sort Guilty of the pmises above upon her imposed as by the
afd Indictment it is alledged and there of She putteth herself upon
the Country

    Thereupon Command was given to the Sher of Kent County & he
immediately Cause to Come here twelve &c.a by whome &c.a who neither
&c.a to recognize &c.a be Cause as well &c.a of which s.d pcept the Said
Sher to wit Joseph Young Gent now here at this day to wit the
Eighteenth day of Noveb.r Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred
twenty and Nine makes return that he hath here ready
twelve &c.a as by his pcept he was Command And now here
afterwards to wit the day and year last Mentioned Come again
the afd Reb.a Blackledge as the Right Hon.ble the Lord propry

of that Jury being impannelled and Called likewise came to wit

John Derrik John Rolph who being duly Elected ^tryd^ duly and Sworn to say
the truth on the premises upon their Oath do Say Reb.a Blackledge
is not Guilty of ^the^ fornication in the above Indictement Aleadged by
Rob.t Dunn there foreman ^all^ So Say            Therefore it is Considered
by the Justices here Viz.t all the Court House on the Town of Chester
in Said County on the third Tuesday in November being the Eighteenth
day of Said Month Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred And
twenty Nine That he afd Rebecca Blackledge as to the  afd Indictment
She goe the of without day and that She be therefrom acquit according
to the force form and Effect of the Verdit of the Jurors afd and also
that She pay the Sume of one thousand & Sixty four pds of tob.o Costs
accruing on y.e pmiss afd to the officers of this Court Ord.rd Security be pd
for felony Joseph Young Gent hight Sher of K.t Co.ty keep y.e Said Reb.a in safe
Custody untill She Shall pay the feess afd   On which came into C.t
