 Whereas M.r John Evans one of the Justices of this
Court Complaines that the Same Thomas hath used
unbecoming behav.r to him in lessing of the Com.n
he bears On which the Court Ordered that the s.d
Thomas might be bro.t into Court to answer the Same.  The said Thomas ap.rd
in Court cometh and appeareth in his proper person And Saith that he
might use the Language as the afd M.r John Evans informed the Court

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here at the Court House in
the Town of Chester in Said County On the third tuesday in August being the
Nineteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Nine
That the Same Thomas Budd be find the Sume of One Thousand pounds
of Tob.o for the use of the Free School in Said County According to Act of
Assembly in Such Case lately made and provided As a fine for Committing
the offence afd &c.a  And also pay the Sume of One hundred and twenty &
five pounds of Tob.o Costs accrueing on y.e pmises afd

    Ordered by the Same Court that M.r Joseph Young Sherf of Said County
keep the Same Tho.s as in Safe Custody untill the fine & fees afd Shall
be paid
