79 guilty in any Sort of the premises above upon him imposed as by the afd Indictment as by his afd Indictment it is alledged And thereof he puteth himself upon the Country W.m Bonner in p.a p.a And he who followeth for the Lord prop.ry in like manner Saith he is guilty T ffrancis L.d p.ry Thereupon Command was given to the Sherf of Kent County that he Immediately cause to come here twelve &c.a By whom &c.a who Neither &c.a To Recognize &c.a Because as well &c.a of which Said pcept the said Sherf to and Joseph Young Gent now here at this day to wit the Nineteenth day of August Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and twenty Nine makes Return that he hath here Ready twelve &c.a As by his pcept he was Commanded and was here afterwards to wit the day and year last mentioned Came again the afd Lord prop.ry by his Att.ry afd and William Bonner in his proper person And the Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled and Called likewise came to wit Roger Hicks Vincent Hatcheson William Tidmarsh Henry Davis Benjamin Ricaud Francis Reed David Ford George Hill Thomas Husband Nich.o Reily Peter Jones Robert Green who being duely Elected tryed and Sworn to Say the truth in the premises upon their Oath do Say that the afd William Bonner is Not guilty in Such Manner and form as he Stands Indicted and by Roger Hicks there foreman all So Say Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here at the Court House in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday in August being the Nineteenth day of Same Month Anno Dom. One thousand Seven hundred twenty Nine That the afd William Bonner as to the afd Indictment begs thereof without day and that he be therefrom acquitted but that he pay the sume of One Thousand and Nineteen pounds of Tobacco Costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court &c.a The afd William Bonner not being in Capacity to pay the fees afd it is Said that he is a Servant which if he Should and it is made app.r by Novemb.r Court next then the County to pay the Same if not the Sherf Clk & Cry.r promises to abut one third on Acc.t Chris.r Bateman jun.r promises to pay the Remaindr at four severall paym.ts Each officer to Receive a proportionable part of their due each year the paym.ts is to be made And Thereupon the Court Setts him to the Said Christopher & his assigness for five years from this time to be from home Compleated The afd W.m Bonner at last June Court entrd into Recognizance afd An Appearance o this Court to Answ.r as above now at this Court Ap.rd Ordered by this form that his Recognizance be Disch.d no pson shewing any cause to the Contrary as absolute Suretys for his Appear.c at Same time The Said W.m Bonner Recogniz.c being for twenty pds Sterl is by this Court here disch.d And a Certain Christopher Bateman jun.r his Recognizance n twenty pounds Sterl for the Said William Bonners Appearance at this Court be Disch.d
