might be discharged  Ordered by this Court here that the same Thomas
Alfree his recognizance taken at last Court be discharged Thomas
Alfree his recognizance taken as afd in the sum of ten pounds
Sterl. for his appearance at this Court and good behaviour in the
mean time is by this Court here discharged there being no cause
shewn to the contrary

the Court that The Rev.end M.r Richard
Sewell Rector of Shrewsbury parish hath
Contrary to Act of Assembly Maried two
persons with out publication or Sylence &c.a    Thereupon
this Court orders that Information may be exhibitted against
same thereupon    which was accordingly done and is as
followeth viz.t

    Kent County fs.t  Be it Remembred that Tench Francis Gent.
attorney of the right honourable the Lord proprietarie that now
is who for the same Lord proprietary in this part prosecuteth doth come here
into the County Court of the same Lord proprietary held for Kent County afd to
wit at Chester Town in the same County the twenty second day of August
Anno Dom. seventeen hundred thirty and four before James Harris
Esq.r and his associates the said Lord proprietary his Justices of the same
County Court and for the same Lord proprietary doth give the same Justices
here to understand and be informed that Richard Sewell of shrewsbury
parish in the County afd Clerk on the twenty second day of July Anno
Domini seventeen hundred thirty and three and for a long time next
before and after in due and lawfull manner was and continued Rector of
the same parish to wit at the Parish and County afd and within the
Jurisdicion of this Court and that the same Richard the same
twenty second day of July at the parish afd in the County afd within
the same Jurisdicion did joyn Negro Dick the proper slave of Richard
Bennett Esq.r and Amy Nabb of the same parish and County
Spinster then within the same parish residing in Marriage with
out any publick cation according to the rubrick of the Church of
England of their intent to Marry at any Church or Chappel _________
