Charles Smith Samuel Levey Benj.a Griffith William Dean Joshua Beck Nath.l Kennard
William Tidmouth Philip Ricketts who being duely Elected tryed and Sworn to the Say
the truth in the premisses upon their Oath do Say Susannah Hill is not guilty
of the felony as She Stands Indicted and by James Moore their foreman al So Say

    Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz.t this eighteenth day of
March Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and twenty Eight at the
Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County That the afd Susanna Hill
as to the afd Indictment go thereof without day and that She be therefrom
Acquit And that She pay unto the officers of this Court the Sum of One
Thousand and forty three pounds of Tobacco Cost Accruing on the premisses afd

    Ordered by the Court here that She be Committed in John Gresham Sher of this
Countys Custody untell She Shall pay the fees on the premisses afd

    After which came into Court a Certain John Sturgis and William Clarke
both ^of^ Said Countys planters and did undertake to pay all fees on the Indictment
afd against the afd Susanna Hill and thereupon the Said Susanna is Acquitted

Recognizance at last August Court being entered into by John Ashley
& Phil Hill in the Sum of ten pds Sterl Each for y.e Appear.c
of the afd Susanna at the then next Nov.r Court the Same
Susanna being alledged to be Sick the Same was Continued untill
this psent Court And now at this Court viz the 18.th Day of March 1728 the Said
Susanna Ap.rd And Ordered that the afd Recog.c be disch.d nothing being offerd
to the Contrary &c.a        Thereupon the Said John Ashley and Phil Hills
Recognizance is by this Court here disch.d &c.a

    William Bevins at the same time afd Entered into Recognizance in the
Sum of five pounds Sterl for the Appearance of Mary Bevins his wife as
and Evid.c prosecuter against the afd Susanna at the then next Nov.r Court held
the Said Susanna being Said to be Sick The Same was Continued Untell this
present Court And now at this Court viz.t This 18.th day of March 1728 the said Mary
ap.rd and Ordered that the afd Recognizance be disch.d  Thereupon the Same
William Bevins's Recognizance is by this Court here disch.d &c.a

his appearance to this Court &c.a  And at the Same time Edward
Worrell and D.r Jacob Glenn as his Suretys entered into
recognizance in the Sum of five pds Sterl Each for y.e Said Rich.d
appearance as afd    And now at this Court the Said Rich.d in his proper person
appeared    And pray his Recognizance and his Suretys as afd might be disch.d
and nothing being offered to the Contrary        It is ordered by the Court here that the
same be disch.d        This Court here discharges the same &c.a
