546                           August Court 1734

tuesday in August being the twentieth day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred
and thirty four Came his said Lordship by his att.ry afd and the same William
Crane in his proper person and defends the force and injury when &c.a and
Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Information afd So as afd against
him brought nor can he say but that he is guilty of the assault
afd in the Information afd is by the Same is alledged and thereupon
Submits to the Court        Therefore it is Considered by the
Justices here to wit at the Same day and year last mentioned
That the afd William Crane be find the Sum of five Shillings
to the use of his Lordship his heirs and Successors as a fine for
Committing the assault afd in form afd Confest And also the Sum
of three hundred and forty                    pounds of Tobacco cost
accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court

    Ordered by this Court that the same fine be Delivered the same
of Kent County        Thereupon the Same Sherriff of Kent County
came into Court and Acknowledged the Receipt of the same fine

    Ordered by this Court here that Surety be gave for fees afd
Thereupon Henry Culley of Kent County Justices ordered present in Court in
his proper person and acknowledged himself Indebted to the Right
honourable the Lord prop.ry in the sum of Six hundred pounds of
Tobacco to be made and Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles
Lands and Tenements to the use of his said Lordship his heirs
and Successors Conditionally That if the Same William Crane
Shall not pay the afd fees that then he the same Henry
will do it for him wherewith the same Henry Acknowledges
himself to be Content

    The afd William Crane at last Court entered into Recogniz.c
for his appearance at this Court to answer the assaults as afd
and be of good behav.r &c.a And the same William at this Court
app.rd and prays that the Same Recognizance may be disch.d
as also his Suretys for his Appearance Ordered by this
Court here that the Same Recognizance be disch.d as prayed
William Crane his Recognizance as afd taken in the sum of five
ten pounds Sterl. be disch.d there being no cause shewn to y.e Contrary
Henry Culley Surety at last Court for the afd W.m Crane in the Sum of
ten pounds The Same Recognizance is by this Court here
discharged there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary &c.a
