And the afd Jane came and Defended the force and injury when &c.a  And Saith that
She cannot gainsay the Information afd So as afd against her brought nor
can She Say but that She is guilty of the assault above upon her Imposed
as by the afd Information it is alledged  And thereupon Submits
to The Court            Therefore it is Considered by the Justices
here to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester
in Said County on the third tuesday in August being the Twentieth
day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and
thirty four That the same Jane green be find the sum of Ten
Shilling Current money to the use of the Lord proprietary his
heirs and Successors as a fine for the assault afd in form afd Confest
and also the Sum of Three hundred Sixty and Six pounds of Tobacco
costs accrueing on the premisses afd due to the officers of this Court

    Ordered by this Court That Surety be gave for fees  Thereupon
Thomas Alfree of Kent County Planter and present in Court in his
proper person and acknowledged himself Indebted to the Right
Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in the sum of Eight hundred pounds
of Tobacco for the use of his Lordship his heirs and Successors
Conditionally that if the afd Jane Green Shall not pay the
fees on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court wherewith
the same Thomas Alfree Acknowledges himself Content

    Ordered fine be Delivered the Sheriff  Thereupon John Gresham
Sherrif of Kent County comes into Court and acknowledges the _____

Gent. attorney of the right honourable the Lord
proprietary that now is who for the same Lord
proprietary in this part prosecuteth doth come
here into the County Court of the same Lord proprietary held for Kent
County afd to wit at Chester Town in the County afd the twentieth day
of August Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and thirty four before
James Harris Esq.r and his associates the said Lord proprietary
his Justices of the Same County Court and for the same Lord prop.ry
doth give the Same Justices here to understand and be informed
that David Crane late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd planter
the tenth day of July Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred thirty & four
