August Court 1734 be discharged there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary Robert Green his Recognizance taken in the sum of ten pounds Sterl. for the appear.c of the afd Jane his wife and her good behav.r in the mean time to answ.r unto the assault afd The same is by this Court here discharged there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary Eliz.a Dunnahan at the same time afd give surety as an Evid.c against the afd Jane Green for her appearance to this Court The same Eliz.a at this Court appears and prays that her Suretys Recognizance for her appearance be discharged Ordered by this Court here that the afd Recognizance be discharged as prayed Benjamin Griffith of Kent County ordered into recogniz.c in the sum of five pounds Sterl. for the app.rc of the afd Eliz.a as an Evid.c against the afd Jane Green The same Recognizance is by this Court here disch.d there being no cause shewn to the Contrary Ordered by this Court here that Tench Francis Clarke of the Indictment of this Court Exhibits an Information against the afd Anne Green which is as foll. to wit Kent County fs.t Be it Remembred that Tench Francis Gent attorney of the right honourable the Lord proprietary that now is who for the same Lord proprietary in this part prosecuteth doth come here into the County Court of the same Lord proprietary held for Kent County afd to wit at Chester Town in the County afd the eighteenth day of June Anno Domini seventeen hundred thirty and four before William Harris Esq.r and his associates the said Lord proprietary his Justices of the same County Court and for the same Lord proprietary doth give the same Justices here to understand and be informed that Jane Green late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd the wife of Robert Green of the same County the sixth day of Mary Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred thirty & four at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court in and upon Elizabeth Dunnahan of the same County in the peace of God ^and^ of the Same Lord prop.ry then and there being with force and Arms an assault did make and the same Elizabeth then and there did beat wound and evilly treat so that of his life it was greatly dispared and other harms to him then and there did to the great Damage of the same Elizabeth and against the peace of the said Lord proprietary his good rule and Government &c.a Wherefore the same attorney of the said Lord proprietary for the same Lord proprietary prayeth the advice of the Court here in the premisses and that due process of Law in this part against the afd Jane may be made to answer unto the same Lord proprietary of and upon the premisses &c.a T francis |
