William Graves and that in the mean time the said Patrick is to be of
good behaviour wherewith the afd Hance Hanson and Robert Green

 Complaint being made that the Same Daniel had
made an assault on Elizabeth Batt  The Court
orders that Warrant Issue to take him the
Same being delivered  The Sherff after which
came the Sherff and made return thereof with the Same endorses
Cepi Corpus    p Jn.o Gresham Sher.

    The Same Daniel app.rs the Court haveing Several Evidences
Sworn upon which they ordered That Tench Francis Clk of
the Indictments of this Court Exhibit an Information against
the same Daniel for assaulting the afd Elizabeth Batt

    Kent County fs.t Be it remembred that Tench Francis Gent. attorney of the
Right honourable the Lord proprietarie that now is who for the same
Lord proprietarie in this part prosecuteth doth come here into the County
Court of the same Lord proprietarie held for Kent County afd to wit at
Chester Town in the County afd the nineteenth day of June Anno
Domini Seventeen hundred thirty and four before James Harris
Esq.r and his associates the said Lord proprietary his Justices of
the Same County Court and for the Same Lord proprietarie doth
give the Same Justices here to understand and be informed that
Daniel Fling late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd planter
the same nineteenth day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred
thirty and four at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jursdiction
of this Court in and upon Elizabeth Batt of the Same County
in the peace of God and of the Same Lord proprietarie then and
there being with force and Arms an assault did make and the
Same Elizabeth then and there did beat wound and evilly treat
so that of his life it was greatly dispared and other harms to
him then and there did to the great damage of the Same Elizabeth
and against the peace of the said Lord prop.ry his good rule and
Government &c.a  Wherefore the same attorney of the said
