493 County Court was Imediately held at our Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in March Instant to Answer unto a Certain Indictment found by the Grand Jury for Committing an assault on a Certain William Graves and that the Same Sherrif have at the Same Court the Same Writt Att which Said Court to wit the Same day and year afd at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in March Instant being the day that the afd Writ was Returnd Immediately by John Gresham Gentl. Sherrif of Kent County who Made return to the Court here thereof endorsed as foll.s viz.t Cepi Corpus p Jn.o Gresham Sher. And the afd His Lordship the Lord prop.ry by Tench Francis his att.ry comes and prays that the afd Patrick Clarke may appear and answer unto the writ afd and the Same Patrick in his proper person Appears And thereupon the Court orders that he give Surety for his appearance at the next Court to answ.r as afd Upon which Patrick Clarke of Kent County Blacksmith and present in Court in his proper person cometh and Acknowledges himself Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord proprietary in the Sum of Ten pounds Sterling money of Great Brittaine to be made and Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally That if he Shall not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June then next ensueing to answer unto what shall be objected against ^him^ on his Lordships behalf on account of his assaulting William Graves afd and in the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith he Acknowledges himself to be Content Also at the Same Court came Morgan Hurt of Kent County Planter in his proper pson and present in Court cometh and acknowledges himself Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of Ten pounds Sterl. money of Great Brittain to be made & Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally That if the afd Patrick Clarke Shall not appear at the next Court to be held for Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June then next to answer unto what Shall be objected against him on his Lordships behalf for assaulting William Graves and in the mean time the Same Patrick Clark is to be of good behaviour wherewith the Same Morgan Hurtt Acknowledges himself to be Content &c.a
