March Court 1733 afd Benjamin Cleaver and in his proper person appeared And prayed that the afd John Cleavers Recognizance taken as afd might be disch.d Ordered by this Court her That the Same Recognizance be disch.d John Cleaver his Recognizance taken as afd taken in the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterling for the appearance of the afd Benjamin Cleaver to answ.r as afd & to be of good behav.r The Same Recogniz.c is by this Court here disch.d there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary Ordered by this Court here That the afd Benjamin Cleaver enter into recogniz.c with Surety for his appearance at next Court to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him on his Lordships behalf &c.a Thereupon Benjamin Cleaver of Kent County Planter and present in Court in his proper person cometh and Acknowledges himself indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord Proprietarie In the Sum of ten pounds Sterling money of Great Brittaine to be made and Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally That if ^he^ doth not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Kent County on the third tuesday in June next ensueing To answer unto what Shall be objected against him on his Lordships behalf On account of his Committing fornication with a Certain Eliz.a Evans and in the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith the Same Benjamin Acknowledges himself to be Content Also came John Cleaver of Kent County Planter and present in Court in his proper person cometh and Acknowledgeth himself Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord proprietarie in the Sum of Ten pounds Sterling to be made and Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally That if the Said Benjamin Cleaver Shall not appear and Answer at the next County Court to be held at our Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June next to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him on his Lordships behalf on account of his Commiting fornication with a Certain Elizabeth Evans and in the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith the Same John Cleaver Acknowledges himself to be Content
the Same William Graves Command was given on the nineteenth day of March in the Twentieth Year of his Lordships Dominion &c.a Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three to the Sherrif of Kent County That he Should take Patrick Clarke of S.t Pauls Parish in the County afd Blacksmith if he Should be found in his Bailiwick and him safe keep So that he have his body before the Justices of this |
