the weighing or regarding John Pullen a taxable person in Said family then resideing
The Same List did not write down or cause to be written down or mentioned
but the Same John Pullen to be a taxable person from the knowledge of the Said Thomas
Morsell then and there did Conceal contrary to the form of the Act of Assembly is Intitulled
an Act for the appointment of Constables and what relates to their office and ascertaining
what persons are taxables and against the peace of the Said Lord proprietary his good
rule and Government &c.a  Wherefore the Same attorney of the Said Lord prop.ry for the
Same Lord prop.ry prayeth the advice of the Court here in the premisses and that due process
of Law in this part against the afd John Hall may be made to Answer unto the
Same Lord prop.ry of and upon the premisses &c.a                T francis

    And now here at the Said Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the
Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in March being the nineteenth day
of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came the
Lord prop.ry by Tench Francis his attorney and the Same John Hall in his proper
person and the Same att.ry of the Lord prop.ry prays that the afd John Hall may
answer unto the Information afd

    And the afd John Hall comes and in his proper person appears and Saith that
he cannot gainsay the Information afd So as afd against him brought nor he can he
Say but that he is guilty of Concealing the Taxable afd as by the Information afd it is
alledged and thereupon Submits to the Court    Therefore it is Considered by
the Justices here to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in
Said County on the third tuesday in March being the nineteenth day of Said Month Anno
Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three That the Same John Hall
do find the Sum of five hundred pounds of Tobacco for the use of  his Ldship
as a fine for Commiting the offence afd in form afd Confest according to Act of
Assembly in Such case lately made and provided &c.a  And also pay the
Sum of three hundred and two pounds of Tobacco Cost accrueing to the officers
of this Court on the premisses afd
