Jane Flanager
Be it Remembred that on the twenty Seventh of this
Instant August 1733 Henry Spencer Did Acknowledge
himself in Debted unto the Right Honourable the
Lord prop.ry of the Province of Maryland his
heirs and Successors in the Sum of twenty Pounds Sterling money
of Great Brietten to be Leveyed on his Goods and Chattles Lands and
Tenements Conditionally that if the Certain Jane Flanagan of
the afd County Do not make his personall appearance before me
Justice of his Lordships Court for Kent County the third tuesday of
Nov.r next then and there to answer all such matters and things and it
Be objected against her Concerning the Suffering her self to be Gotten with
Child by a Certain Larrance Neale of the afd County and Do not Depart
without Leave of the Court that then His Recognizances taken before
me to be Void Otherwise to stand and remain in full force

    And now here at this Court to Witt at Kent County at the Court house in
the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in Nov.r being
the twentieth Day of said month Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred
& thirty three Came the afd Jane Flanager in her Proper person Appeared
and prayed her Suretys Recognizances might be Discharged  Ordered
by the Court here that the afd Henry Spencer Recognizances as afd be
Discharged as Prayed Henry Spencer afd his Recognizances taken as afd
is by this Court here Discharged each of them as prayed there being no
Cause Shewn to the Contrary &c.a

    August y.e 27.th 1733 Kent County fs  The Deposition of Jane Flanager of
the afd County being sworn on the Holy Evangelis of Almighty God
Deposeth that a Certain Larrance neat of the afd County had Carnal
knowledge of her body and Did begitt a bastard Child and further saith
not Sworn to before me the Subscriber

    The Grand Jury returnd a bill of Indictment against the afd June And
Thereupon the same Indictment was Contd untill next Court being the
third tuesday in March

    Ordered by this Court That Surety be gave for the appearance
of the afd Jane

                        Thereupon Came Henry Spencer of Kent County Planter
and present in Court in his proper person acknowledgeth himself Indebted to
the Right Hon.rble the Lord proprietarie of the Province of Maryland to
