in his Proper Person Appears and prays the Same Recognizances
might be Discharged ^and also his Suretys Recognizance for his appearance^  Ordered by the Court here that
the same Recognizances might be Discharged as Pray^e^d and the
Recognizance taken as afd in the Sum of tenn pounds Sterling
as by this Court here Discharged &c.a as also Jos: Trulock in five pds Sterl is ^by the Court here disch.d^
John Gambell as Evidence on his Lordship behalf against the
afd Benj.a Green are Sworn and Sent to the Grand Jury And
Ordered by the Court that M.r Tench Francis Clk of the Indictm.t of this
Court Exhibit a bill of Indictment to the Grand Jury against the
afd Benj.a Green and there upon the Grand Jury returnes the
Same To the Court is as follow Viz.t

    Kent County fs  The Jurors for the Right Honble the Lord propry that
now is for the body of Kent County afd upon their Oath do present
that Benj.a Green of S.t pauls parish in the County afd Labour
the tenth Day of September Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and
thirty three at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction
if this Court in and upon a Certain John Gambell in the
Peace of God and of the said Lord prop.ry then and there being with
force and arms an Assault Did make and him the said John then and
there did beat wound and evilly treat so that of his Life it was much
despared and other harms to him then & there did to the gr^e^at Damage
of the said John and against the peace of the Said Lord propry that now
is his Good rule and Dignity &c.a                            Tfrancis

On the afd Indictment was Indorsed as follows viz.t

    Be it Remembred that on the 22.d day of September Anno Dom. 1733 personally
appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the peace for Said
County John Gambell of Said County and Likewise did acknowledge himself
indebted unto his Said Lordship his heirs & Successors in y.e Sum of tenn
pounds Sterling to be Levided as afd Conditionally he doe not make his
personall appearance at y.e next Court be held for said County then &
there to prosecute Benj.a Green wherewith he Acknowledged himself
Contented  Taken before Me  W.m Frisby

    And now here at this Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town
of Chester in said County on the third tuesday in Nov.r being the twentieth day of said
Month Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Thirty three the afd Benj.a
Green and prayed his Recognizance taken and might be discharged Entered
in the Court here That the afd Recognizance be Discharged as prayed Benj.a Green
and his Recognizances be Discharged taken as afd in the Sume of tenn pounds
Sterling is by this Court here Discharged &c.a
