November Court 1728 did make & he the said William Thomas then and there did beat wound & Evilly treat so that of his life it was much Dispared & other harms to him then & there did to the great Damage of the same W.m And Contrary to the peace of the said Lord prop.ry that now is his good rule and Government &c T Francis Cler. pac. Test William Thomas On the back of the afd Indictm.t was End.t as folls A true bill p Sam. Wickes foreman And the afd Richard in his proper person appeard to the afd Indictm.t And the afd Tench Francis Attry of the said Lord prop.ry Cometh & saith that for as much as he hath not Evid.c Sufficient to Maintain the afd Charge in the Indictm.t afd specified against the said Richard Gresham he will not prosecute the same Indictment any further Therefore it is Considered by the Justices to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County this ninteenth day of Nov.r Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred & twenty nine that the afd Richard Gresham as to the Indictment afd he go thereof without day & be therefrom Acquitted Also it is Considered that the said Richard Gresham pay the sum of one hundred ninety seven pounds of tob.o Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court Clk.s fees 62 Sher 35 Att.ry 100 in all 197 Jam.s Smith Clk
