November Court 1733 be void otherwise to Stand and Remain in full force G Wilson And now here at this Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in November being the Twentieth day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came the afd James Maccombs and prayed his Recognizance taken as afd might be discharged Ordered by this Court here That the afd Recognizance be discharged as prayed James Maccombs afd his Recognizance taken as afd in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling is by this Court here disch.d &c.a
pounds Sterling money of great Brittain to be Levied on her Body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if she doth not make her personall appearance before the Justices of his Ld Ships Court to be held for Kent County on the Third Tuesday of November next then and their to give Such Evidence as She knows against a Certain Mary Brooes of the afd County Concerning her Feloniously Stealing a hogg of the good and Chattles of a Certain James Maccombs of the afd County and Do not Depart without leave of Court that then this Recogniz.c to be void otherwise to Stand and Remain in full force G Wilson And now here at this Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in November being the Twentieth day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came The afd Susannah Macay and in her proper person appeared and prayed the Same Recognizance might be discharged Ordered by the Court here That the Same Recognizance be discharged as prayed Susannah Macay afd her Recognizance taken as afd in the Sum of Ten pounds Sterling is by this Court here discharged &c.a James Maccombs Agnis Boyer and Rosemond Clayton as Evidences on his Lordships behalf against the afd Mary Brooes are Sworn and Sent to the Grand Jury And ordered by the Court that M.r Tench Francis Clk of the Indictments of this Court Exhibit a bill of Indictment to the Grand Jury against the afd Mary Brooes and thereupon The Grand Jury returns the Same to the Court which is as foll. viz.t Kent County fs The Jurors for the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry that now is for the Body of Kent County afd upon their Oath do present that Mary Brooes late of Shrewsbury Parish in the County afd Widow the tenth day of October Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred thirty and three at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court with force & arms one hog of the price of one hundred pounds of Tobacco of the goods & Chattles of a Certain James Maccombs then & there being found then & there feloniously did Steal taken and bear |
