Company of a Certain Thomas Heborn of the Parish and County afd Labourer
Contrary to the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided and against
the peace of the Said Lord proprietarie his good rule and Governm.t
Wherefore the Same attorney of the Said Lord prop.ry prayeth the
advice of the Court here in the premisses for the Said Lord proprietarie
and due process of Law in this part to be made against
the afd Rosemond Thompson to answer unto the Said Lord
Proprietarie of and upon the premisses &c.a  T francis Cler. pac.

    And the afd Rosemond Thompson in her proper persom cometh
and Saith that She is in no Sort guilty of the premisses above
upon her Imposed as by the afd Information it is alledged and thereof
She putteth her Self upon the Country                P.r P.a

    And he who followeth for the Lord proprietary in like manner Saith
She is guilty                                                    T francis for the Ld P.ry

    And the afd Tench Francis attorney attorney of the Said Lord prop.ry
in Court cometh and with the advice of the Court Saith that for as much
as he hath not Evidence Sufficient to maintain the afd Charge in the
Information afd Specified against the Said Rosemond Thompson he will
not prosecute the Same Information any further  Therefore it is Considered
by the Justices here to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town
of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in November being the Twentieth
day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three
That the afd Rosemond Thompson as to the Information afd he go thereof
without day and be therefrom acquitted Also it is Considered that the
afd Rosemond Thompson pay the Sum of Six hundred Eighty Nine
pounds of Tobacco Costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of
this Court

    Ordered by this Court here that Security be gave for the fees afd
Whereupon Thomas Heborn of Kent County Joyner and present in
Court in his proper person cometh and Acknowledged himself Indebted
of the Severall officers of this Court the ffees accrueing on the premisses
afd to the Sum of Six hundred Eight Nine pounds of Tobacco
