Lord prop.ry by his attry afd and the Said Dennis Long in his proper person and the
Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled and called likewise came to Wit John Tilden
Stephen Glanvill Thomas Piner George Medford Richard Knoulman George Vansant
Joshua Vansant Thomas Wiatt John Brown Robert Lisby William Hynson and
John Rogers who being duely elected tryed and Sworn to Say the truth in the
premisses upon their oath do say Dennis Long is guilty of the felony as
he Stands Indicted and by John Tilden their foreman all So Say    Therefore
it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at Kent County at the Court House
in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in August being the twenty
first day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three
That the afd Dennis Long as to the felony afd the Horse afd Stoln is by
the Court adjudged of the price of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco and
the four fold of which Amounts to two Thousand four hundred pounds of
Tobacco which the afd Dennis at the Expiration of his time that he is now
a servant for That the he Serve his Said Master ^his heirs or assigns^ for the Same And
that the Same Benjamin pay unto the afd Robert Speer the four
fold afd                And that the afd Dennis Long Stand in the Pillory
for the Space of half an hour and that afterwards he Receive he
the Publick whipping Post twenty five Lashes well laid on his bare
back tell the blood appear as a punishment for his afd Crime of
Committing the felony afd according to the force form and effect of the
verdict afd  Also it is Considered that the Said Benjamin Palmer
pay the Sum of Seven hundred Fifty        ^Eight^ pounds of tob.o
Costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court from
the afd Dennis Long  The Which the Same Dennis is to Serve his
afd Master his heirs or assigns at the Expiration of his time of service

    It is also Considered by the Court here at this day to wit the day
and year last mentioned that the Sherrif of Kent County take the afd Dennis
Long into his Custody and Execute the Punishment in the Judgment afd
Specified And afterwards to bring him into Court againe Of which precept
to wit John Gresham Gentl high Sherrif of Kent County makes return
on the day & year last Said that he hath Executed the punishment
in the Judgment afd and also hath here ready the Said Dennis
Long before the Court
