house diverse goods viz.t one Course Rugg one Sute Window Curtins and
Vallen one Callico Chimney Cloath one Suite Chiney Curtins & head
Cloath and one earthen Punch Bowle and told her that the Cap.t meaning
Cap.t Stringfellow knew nothing of them on which the Said Examinant
Saith that She desired him not to being her any thing that might
bring her to disgrace or Shame and at Severall times the afd
Timothy brought to her the Said Examinants house Seven botles
of white wine and afterwards at times came and drank the Same
Wine out and that when She heard the Same Timothy was taken
up She putt the above mentioned goods in a Small hole under
the floor near the Chimney for fear of discovery Jane Iher Toaes

taken before me Subscriber one of his Ld
ships Justices of the peace for the County this
twenty Seventh day of July one thousand Seven
hundred and thirty Three the afd Dennis
Long being Charged before me by a Certain Robert Speer of the
afd County that the Said Dennis did feloniously Steal from him
the said Speer a White Gelding and the afd Dennis did upon his
Examination Confess that on the Fourteenth of this Instant July he
did absent himself from his Master Benjamin Palmer and
in the Woods Between Ambrose Howard's and his afd Master
he found A White horse and this Examination Saith that he
ketched the afd horse Down into Talbot County and turned him
out a place Called persons Landing and further Saith not taken

    Be it Remembred that on the Twenty Seventh of this Instant
July One thousand Seven hundred and thirty and three Benjamin
Palmer did Acknowledge himself Justly Indebted unto the Right
Honorable the Lord prop.ry of the province of Maryland his heirs
and Successors in the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterling money of
