    Kent County fs.t  The Jurors for the Right Honorble the Lord propry that now is
for the County afd upon their oath do present that Butler Hall late of S.t
Pauls Parish in the County afd the wife of Thomas Hall the Twenty Seventh
day of July Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred thirty & three at the parish afd in the
County afd within the Juresdiction of this Court in and upon Thomas Piner in
the peace of God and the said Lord propry then & there being with force and
Arms an assault did make and him the said Thomas Piner then and there
did beat wound & Evilly treat so that of his life it was much dispaired and
other harms to him then & there did to the great Damage of the s.d Thomas
Piner & ag.t the peace of the said Lord Prop.ry his Good rule & Government
Test Thomas Piner Peter Cowarding T francis Cler. pac.
The Same Indictment was endorsed as foll. viz.t true Bill p Simon Wilmer foreman

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at Kent County
in the Court House in the of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of
August being the twenty fourth Day of Said Month Anno Dom. one
Thousand Seven hundred thirty & three That the afd Butler Hall pay the
Sum of five hundred pounds of Tobacco as fine to y.e use of his Lordship
for her Committing the assault afd in form afd Confest and also pay the sum
of three hundred thirty and three pounds of Tobacco    Cost accruing on
the premisses afd to the officer of this Court

    Ordered by this Court that John Gresham Gentl. Sherrif of Kent County
keep the afd Butler Hall in Safe Custody untill the fine afd Amounting
to five hundred pounds of Tobacco Shall be Satisfied to his Lordship &c.a

    Ordered by this Court that John Gresham Gentl. Sherrif of Kent County
keep the afd Butler Hall in Safe Custody untill the fees afd
Shall be Satisfied that accrues on the premisses afd

    Ordered by this Court here that The afd Butler ^Hall^ give Surety for
her good behaviour untill next Court &c.a
