it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at Kent County at the Court house in the
Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in August being the twenty first
day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three
that if the afd John English pay the Sum of two hundred and fifty pounds of
tobacco as fine for ^the use of^ his Lordship for his Commiting the assault afd in form
afd Confest and also pay the Sum of three hundred forty four
pounds of Tobacco cost accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this
Court

    Ordered by this Court That John Gresham Sherrif of Kent County keep the
afd John English in Safe Custody untill the fine afd Shall be Satisfied

    Ordered by this Court here That John Gresham Sherrif of Kent County
keep the afd John English in Safe Custody untill the fees afd be
Satisfied

    Ordered by this Court here That the afd John English give Security for his
appearance at next Court and good behav.r in the mean time

    John English of Kent County Planter present in Court in his proper
person and acknowledged himself indebted to the Right honourable the Lord
prop.ry that now is in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling to be made and leveyed
on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship
his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if he doth not make his personall
appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday in
November next and in the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith
he Acknowledges himself therewith Content

    Likewise at the Same time Came James Ringgold of Kent County Gentl Son
of William Ringgold came into Court and Acknowledged himself Indebted to
the Right honourable the Lord prop.ry that now is in the Sum of ten pounds
Sterling to be made and leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements
to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally
that if the afd John English Shall not make his appearance at the next
Court to be held for Said County at the Court house in the Town of Chester in Sd
County on the third tuesday in November next and in the mean time he is to
be of good behaviour wherewith the ^Same James Ringgold^ Acknowledges himself to be Content
