    And thereupon the Same Indictment Standing for tryall the afd James Thomas jun.r
prays the Same may be Cont.d untill the third tuesday in March then next ensueing
which is granted And the Same Cause is Continued untill the Same third tuesday in
March next ensueing &c.a

    Att which Said third tuesday in March being the twentieth day of Said Month
Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came the afd Lord prop.ry
by his att.ry afd and the Same James Thomas Jun.r in his proper person and prays
the Same Cause may be Continued untill the third tuesday in June then next
ensueing which is grandted &c.a

    Att which Said third tuesday in June being the nineteenth day of Said Month
Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came the afd Lord
p.rp.ry by his att.ry afd And the Same James Thomas Jun.r in his proper person
and prays the Same Came may be Continued untill the Third tuesday in August
then next ensueing which is granted &c.a

    Att which Said third tuesday in August being the twentyeth ^first^ day of sd
Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came the afd
Lord prop.ry by the att.ry afd and the Same James Thomas jun.r in his proper
person And prays that he may have Liberty to with draw his plea afd
Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Indictment afd So as afd against him
brought nor but that he is guilty of the premisses above upon him imposed
as by the afd Indictment it is alledged and thereupon Submits to the
Court        Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit the Same
Sum of Thirty Shillings Current money of the province afd as fine for the
use of the County for Commiting the fornication afd in form afd Confest
and also pay the Sum of Eight hundred and Nine
pounds of Tobacco cost Accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of
this Court

    Ordered by this Court That the fine afd be Immediately delivered to the
Sherrif of Kent County  Upon which John Gresham Gentl. Sherrif of Kent
County comes into Court and Acknowledges the Receipt of the afd fine

    Ordered by this Court that Security be gave for the Clark fees
Thereupon Jeremiah Covington of Kent County planter and present here
in Court in his proper person and Acknowledges himself Indebted to the afd Clk of
the Same County Court to wit James Smith the fees belonging to him
Accrueing on the premisses afd which Amounts to the Sum of three
hundred Ninety three pounds of Tobacco wherewith The Same Jerem.h
Covington Acknowledges himself therewith to be Content
