August Court 1733 as much as the afd James Thomas jun his Recognizance be Continue The afd George Whiteheads Recognizance for the afd Ann Whitehead is Continue ^also^ untill the third tuesday in June then next ensueing &c.a Att which Said third tuesday in June being the nineteenth day of June Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came againe the afd Ann Whitehead and Appeared and for as much as the afd James Thomas jun.r his Recognizance is Continued The afd George Whitehead Recognizance for the afd Ann Whitehead is Continued also untill the third tuesday in June then next ensueing &c.a Att which Said Third tuesday in August being the twenty first day of Said Month Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came againe the afd Anne Whitehead and prayd that George Whiteheads Recognizance for the Appearance of the afd Ann Whitehead as an Evidence against the afd James Thomas jun.r be disch.d Ordered by this Court here That the Same Recogniz.c be disch.d George Whitehead his recognizance taken in the Sum of five pounds Sterling for the Appearance of the afd Anne Whitehead as an Evid.c against the afd James Thomas jun.r Are and by this Court here discharged &c.a
afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court did Commit fornication with Anne Whitehead and then and there did beget a bastard child on the body of her the Same Anne to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evil Example of all others in Such case offending Contrary to the peace of the Said Lord prop.ry his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such case made and provided T francis Test Anne Whitehead The Same Indictment was endorsed as foll. viz.t A true Bill p Edw.d Worrell foreman Att The third tuesday in August being the fifteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came the afd the Lord prop.ry by his att.ry afd and desired the Same Indictment might be Cont.d untill the third tuesday in Novemb.r then next ensueing which is accordingly granted and Continued to the Same third tuesday in Novemb.r Att which Said third tuesday in November being the twenty first day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two Came the afd Lord prop.ry by his att.ry afd and the Said James Thomas jun.r in his proper person cometh and Saith that he is in no Sort guilty of the premisses above upon him Imposed as by the afd Indictment it is alledged and thereof he putteth himself upon the Country Ja.s Thomas in p.r psona And he who followeth for the Lord p.ry in like manner Saith he is guilty |
